THAILAND DESTINATIONS

BANGKOK

Thailand’s capital, is a large city known for ornate shrines and vibrant street life. The boat-filled Chao Phraya River feeds its network of canals, flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to opulent Grand Palace and its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple. Nearby is Wat Pho Temple with an enormous reclining Buddha and, on the opposite shore, Wat Arun Temple with its steep steps and Khmer-style spire.

PHUKET

Phuket City, on Phuket Island, is the capital of Thailand’s Phuket Province. In the Old Town, Thalang Road is lined with colorful 19th-century shophouses and Sino-Portuguese buildings. Built in 1903 by a wealthy tin merchant, Baan Chinpracha mansion has Italian floor tiles, shuttered windows and antique furniture. Set in a 1930s manor, the Thai Hua Museum has exhibits on Phuket’s culture and history.

* Wat Traimit (Temple of the Golden Buddha): Marvel at the world’s largest solid gold Buddha, standing 3 meters tall and weighing over 5.5 tons—a true symbol of prosperity and devotion.

* Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha): Home to the awe-inspiring 46-meter-long reclining Buddha draped in gold leaf. This temple is also the birthplace of traditional Thai massage, adding to its cultural significance.

* Grand Palace: Wander through the opulent grounds that once housed the Royal Siamese Court. Admire the intricate architecture, shimmering golden stupas, and the revered Emerald Buddha, a spiritual icon of Thailand.

Day 4

Visit Phi Phi Island Tour with Local Lunch

* Head out on an exciting Phi Phi Island tour.

Known for its crystal-clear waters, stunning beaches, and vibrant marine life, Phi Phi Island is a paradise between Phuket and the Thai coast.

* Travel by speedboat or long-tail boat to the islands, where you'll snorkel in pristine waters, explore the beaches, and enjoy a delicious local lunch.

Day 5

Depart Phuket
